Glee Star Lea Michele Not Pretty Enough For TV
It is hard to imagine that Lea Michele who famously plays starlet Rachel Berry on Glee was once considered ‘not pretty enough for TV.’ Before landing her star making turn in Glee, Lea was a struggling actress who was often told that she wouldn’t make it in Hollywood because she didn’t have the right look.

Luckily for Gleeks Ryan Murphy (the show’s creator) wasn’t of the same opinion. Lea reportedly revealed that Glee was the first audition she ever went on and that Ryan, whom she had met while working on Broadway in New York had written the part of Rachel with Lea in mind. Good thing Lea didn’t let anyone telling her she couldn’t stop her from giving up her dream!
